CONSIGNMENT
We are always excited to take a look at quality items that you hope to consign. We suggest that you
first send us an email with pictures of any pieces to contact@athertonantiques.com. Items are
consigned for a 45 day period that may be extended at our discretion. The consigning party receives
60% of the retail sales price, while our store keeps a 40% commission. Items maybe reduced up to 20%
during the length of contract in order to help facilitate a sale.
ESTATE SALES & LIQUIDATIONS
Along with selling from our store, we provide Estate Sale services. If you have a home with assets
needing to be liquidated, let's talk. We have knowledgeable staff to price items in your home and
manage the transactions during the sale. With extensive mailing lists of over four thousand clients
(both home addresses and electronic), we are able to quickly reach collectors, designers, and
enthusiasts throughout the area, generating considerable foot traffic to your sale. If necessary we are
able to provide the transportation of remaining items to consignment centers, donation centers, or
disposal at an hourly rate. Please contact us for more information regarding these services.
ESTATE BUYOUTS
Atherton Antiques is also interested in viewing entire estates to purchase. If you have property that
you wish to sell at once, we will come to view your estate and make you an offer on your group of
items.
